Get ready for Global Health Week next week! Participate in the Case Competition on Wednesday to earn 1 scholarship credit!
Collaborate with a team of 2–4 students to develop an evidence-based solution to a complex global health issue. Winners may receive a scholarship or an internship program through Waco AHEC, plus an MCAT prep bundle!

This will be another academic resource exclusive for AED members!
Submit at least 3 textbook pdfs that are required for a class or 3 syllabi from qualifying courses to earn 1 scholarship credit!

Qualifying Syllabi are for any classes in: BIO, CHE, ENG, ENGL, PSY, SOC, BINF, ENH, MH, NSC, PHY, PSC, PAS, REL, STA or another class code should count as relevant syllabi for prehealth students!

Clinical Service Opportunities: Please make sure to email your respective chair and Olivia to inform them of your intent to volunteer. More information can be found in the Clinical Weekly Email sent on July 15th.

New Member Events
UPDATED CREDIT FORMAT
This semester we are implementing a new way of earning New Member credits. Although the requirement will stay at 1 NM social credit, there will be varied distributions of the credits. The recruitment events (8/31 and 9/8), and induction (10/27) will be worth ½ a NM Social credit. The other NM events will keep their worth at 1 credit. This was changed to more accurately reflect the time spent at a NM event, and to encourage more engagement between NMs and GMs. We are excited to see you around this semester!
Still missing your NM Social Credit?
Go to an entire AED social event with any of your Enzymes or Substrates to get the credit!

Don’t have a substrate yet and your enzyme graduated? Reach out to Carter or Neva for a different option.
