Important Membership Updates!
From the Spring 2025 semester on, AED will now be requiring all general members to complete two scholarship credits. All other general member requirements will remain the same. With a variety of events and opportunities available, we hope that this new requirement aims will enhance member engagement and support the continued growth and success of the organization. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Executive Board!

General Meeting Dates:
Our general meetings this semester will be from 7:30-8:30pm on 9/17, 10/1, 10/15, 10/29, 11/12, & 12/3! Go ahead and plan on putting those on your calendar so you can meet the GM requirement.

Upcoming Large Service Events
AED requires general members to attend 3 Large Service Events each semester! If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Ada (ada_khoja1@baylor.edu).
1 Large Service Event can be a “pay for credit” opportunity. Additionally, Loaves of Love and Goodness with Genesis can only count for 1 LSE.
Please check the Master Spreadsheet, and reach out to Ada if there are any discrepancies in service credits!

Loaves of Love will be happening biweekly on the following Fridays: 12/5 in Earle Classroom from 5:00 - 6:00 PM.

World Hunger Relief Farm will be holding an LSE this Friday (12/5) from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Volunteers will be working hands-on to assist the farm stuff with various activities, including pulling weeds, sifting compost, caring for livestock, and more!

Shepherd’s Heart will be hosting an LSE on Saturday 12/5 from 9:00 AM - 1:00 AM to help sort and bag children's toys for Christmas! You can earn up to 2 LSE credits by attending both shifts.

The Salvation Army will be hosting an LSE next week on Thursday 12/11 from 9:30 - 11:30 AM. Volunteers will be helping out at the thrift store.

Pay-for-Credit LSE (12/1 - 12/10)
We are helping Mission Waco host a hygiene drive for their free health clinic for the next two weeks! To earn an LSE credit, you must reach at least 20 points and have items from at least 2 of the categories. Please refer to the list of items below.
Warm Weather Items
Hand Warmers, 2 pack - 0.5 points
Blankets - 10 points
Cloth Gloves, Adult - 10 points
Hygiene Products
Toothbrush - 1 point
Travel Size Mouthwash - 2 points
Toothpaste - 2 points
Non-perishables
Canned goods, tuna packets preferred - 2.5 points per can
Crackers - 2.5 points per box
Case of Water - 5 points
Please reach out to Ada (ada_khoja1@baylor.edu) or Taylor (taylor_sterzing1@baylor.edu) if you are not able to drop off the hygiene items at the next general meeting! Keep in mind that Pay-for-Credit LSEs can only count for only 1 LSE credit.

Christmas Hot Cocoa Stand:
Come by the BSB E Wing 9:00am-3:00pm on Friday 12/5 for a warming cup of hot cocoa with full toppings!
