Our general meetings this semester will be from 7:30-8:30pm on 2/4, 2/18, 3/4, 3/25, 4/8, 4/22! Go ahead and plan on putting those on your calendar so you can meet the GM requirement.

Scholarly Events
PHS Hosting Important Dates:
PHS Host Signup: Dropping this Wednesday, January 28th at 3:00 PM!
If there are no more spots available, you can join the waitlist section on the SignUp Genius.
PHS Host Training: February 4th at 6:00 PM
In order to be a host, you are REQUIRED to attend host training. If you are unable to make it, let Vivian know.

Service
Weekly Service Form: It’s time to fill out the signup sheet with your two top choices for weekly service! The signup form will close on Sunday, February 1st at 11:59 PM.
This form is required if you plan on being active this semester. To remain active, members will need to serve 10 hours at their respective volunteer site
New Opportunity!!! Volunteer as an EMT with West EMS. More information can be found in the Weekly Service Form.
Clinical Service Opportunities: If you are volunteering with one of these opportunities, you do not need to fill out the Weekly Service Signup Form. Please make sure to email your respective chair to notify them of your intent to volunteer. More information can be found in the Clinical Weekly Email sent on January 4th.
Ascension Providence: If you applied to Ascension Providence or are a returning volunteer, please email Hana_Jang1@baylor.edu.

Upcoming Large Service Events
AED requires general members to attend 3 Large Service Events each semester! If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Ada (ada_khoja1@baylor.edu).
1 Large Service Event can be a “pay for credit” opportunity. Additionally, Loaves of Love and Goodness with Genesis can only count for 1 LSE.
Please check the Master Spreadsheet, and reach out to Ada if there are any discrepancies in service credits!

Goodness with Genesis will be holding an LSE on January 29th at Earle Hall from 7:30 - 8:30 PM.
Volunteers will be making cards for patients at the Dallas Children’s Hospital. Sign-ups are limited. Fill out this form to register. Reach out to aadi_sharma1@baylor.edu if you have questions.
Update: You must attend 2 Goodness with Genesis to earn 1 LSE credit.

Loaves of Love will be happening biweekly on the following Fridays: 2/6, 2/20, 2/27, 3/27, 4/10, 4/24 in Earle Classroom from 5:00 - 6:00 PM.

New Member Events
Welcome back, AED members! We have a great Spring Recruitment season for you all and cannot wait to see everyone at our events.
Game Night Recruitment Event.
Our very first recruitment event of the semester is this Wednesday, January 28th (1/28) from 4-6pm in the SUB Den. Come play games and get to know some of this semester's applicants.
Earn 1 NM Social Credit for attending! Make sure to ask Molly or Neva for the attendance form to receive credit.
Earle Hall Tabling
We will have tabling at Earle Hall on Friday, January 23rd (1/23) from 1-4pm and Thursday, January 29th (1/29) from 11-2pm.
Members will receive 1 scholarship credit for attending two 30-minute shifts. Sign up for your shifts using the link. (Will only receive a maximum of 1 credit)
BSB Tabling**
We will have tabling at the BSB on Friday, January 30th (1/30) from 12-3pm and Monday, February 2nd (2/2) 11-3pm.
Members will receive 1 scholarship credit for attending two 30-minute shifts. Sign up for your shifts using the link.
**Please note that BSB tabling may be cancelled last minute because of BSB availability. We will email those who have signed up if it is cancelled. If cancelled, no scholarship credits will be given.
Craft Night Recruitment Event
Next week, we will have our 2nd recurring event. It will be Monday, February 2nd (2/2) from 4-6pm in the SUB Den. Create some beautiful bracelets while chatting with potential New AED Members.
