New Member Events
Applications close THIS TUESDAY!!
If you know anyone interested in joining AED, please forward the application to them and bring them to our recruitment events!
This semester we have so many fun events for you. Below are some new updates for y’all for the New Member semester!
UPDATED CREDIT FORMAT
This semester we are implementing a new way of earning New Member credits. Although the requirement will stay at 1 NM social credit, there will be varied distributions of the credits. The recruitment events (8/31 and 9/8), and induction (10/27) will be worth ½ a NM Social credit. The other NM events will keep their worth at 1 credit. This was changed to more accurately reflect the time spent at a NM event, and to encourage more engagement between NMs and GMs. We are excited to see you around this semester!
Recruitment Event - Game Night, 9/8 5-7pm in the SUB Den
Our LAST first recruitment event of the semester is this Tuesday, September 8th (9/8) from 5-7pm in the SUB Den. Come play games and get to know some of this semester's applicants. These events are now worth ½ a NM social credit! For GMs that bring a pNM, you’ll enter a lottery to win a SUPER FUN PRIZE.
Interviews - 9/10 and 9/11 (ONLY 3 SPOTS LEFT!!)
Be a part of the process to accept new New Members for Fall 2026 and sign up for interviews!! Member Interviews will be held on 9/10 from 5pm - 8pm and 9/11 from 5pm - 8pm. Use this link to sign up!
